Register for a License (LMD)

Dear high school graduates …Congratulations ! And Welcome to the university community!

You have just taken a crucial step in your life: your success in the Baccalaureate is a reward for many years of effort and sacrifice that gives you access to a university education.
The job you are dedicated to according to your vocation as well as your capacities should obviously and mainly determine the choice of this academic training. The reason why you must make the right choice among the numerous and diverse offered by courses by institutions of the Higher Education and Scientific Research to high school graduates, to whom you deserve to belong.

Steps you need to follow in order to enroll at university

Step 1: After the notification of the results of the Baccalaureate

In your college you will be given your baccalaureate certificate in which you will find your PERSONAL NUMBER (at the bottom of the page), which you will need to use during your pre- enrolment.

Read carefully the information provided in the manual and the government Circular . We recommend you to install the TesdjilCom application, available in the download area, on your smartphone. You can also use the interactive versions of the Guide and Hypertext of the Circular, on a PC; or the Pdf versions of these two documents.

Step 2: After carefully reading the documents, you will proceed to your pre-enrolment from July 19 to 22, 2023

.This phase consists of completing your form of wishes and submitting it online on the following address: http://www.orientation.esi.dz

This operation can be carried out using Internet connection. However, we recommend that you to come to the open spaces provided in all universities for this purpose, where you will find availability, advice, assistance and free access to the Internet.

Before completing your wish form, you will be able to check and print the list of all the courses that are you allowed to ("my authorized courses").

Step 3

You must now confirm your pre-registration from July 23 to 24, 2023. You are also allowed to modify your form of wishes you have filled previously.

In this case, it is the second form of wishes that is taken into consideration for your orientation.

Step 4

The results of the affectation will be on line on August 1, 2023 evening

.Step 5: Interviews and tests from August 02 to 06, 2023

  1. For the fields of Sciences and Technics of Physical and Sports Activities (STAPS) field, you must present a medical certificate to your host institution.
  2. For the Higher Teacher Training Schools (ENS), Institutes Science and of Applied Technics(ISTA), certain paths in bachelor’s degrees and IMAMA and IRCHAD Bachelor degrees , as specified in the additional conditions as stipulated in the circular annexes, you must go to the institution you were affected to for an interview.

Step 6: Pre-enrolment for cases (b),(c),(d)

During the period, running from August 02 to 06, 2023, the following cases are taken handled:

B.Failure after an interview or test.

C.None of your four (04) choices could be satisfied: In this case, you must submit a second pre-registration procedure similar to the first, using the same steps.

D.For areas and fields: Science and Technology (ST), Law, Arabic Language and Literature (LLA) and Economics, Management and Business (SEGC) and Medical Sciences, you can be affected to a field of study of your choice, but in a city that does not correspond to your wishes.

In this situation, you are given the opportunity to proceed again to another orientation, according to the same procedure, following the non-validation of the first affectation.

It should be noted that in the three cases, B, C and D, above, relating to a request for reaffectation, the initial affectation is lost.

Step 7

Treatment of cases as defined in step 6, from August 08 to 13, 2023.

Step 8

After being informed of your affectation and if you are interested in accommodation in a university campus, you must submit an online application August 08 to 13, 2023.

Step 9: Affectation changes allowed

Du From August 08 to 13, 2023 opening of the platform of the allowed affectation changes for:

A.Change requests to another field within the same institution.

B.Change requests to another city, for the baccalaureate holders whose parents have been transferred (automatically, or governing bodies).

C.requests of address change of baccalaureate holders, after marriage.

For all these situations, baccalaureate holders are allowed to apply, exclusively online, for a change of affectation respecting the conditions required in the circular, and the minimum averages, and by submitting supporting documents online.

It should be noted that for situations A, B and C, relating to an allowed change of affectation request, accepted candidates automatically lose their initial affectation.

Step 10

Treatment and results of affectation changes will be online (step 9), from August 02 to 06, 2023

Step 11: Final registration from August 05 to 10, 2023

After having being informed of your affectation, you must proceed to your final registration from August 05 to 10, 2023  in the institution you have been affected to. You will have to prepare the following file:

  1. The original transcript of the baccalaureate
  2. Two (02) photos
  3. The receipt of payment of the registration fee (200 DA)

I have a specific baccalaureate (Lycée Bouâmama)

I submit an affectation request through one of the following links:

After having been informed about the following points:

  1. Correspondence of my baccalaureate with the baccalaureate series defined in the circular of pre-registration and orientation of bachelors
  2. Access conditions stipulated in the same circular
  3. Minimum averages of access to the different courses, available on the MESRS website.

I am an Algerian citizen with a foreign baccalaureate

To enroll in an institution of higher education, I submit an application for assignment through one of the following links:

After obtaining the equivalence of my baccalaureate and acquainted:

  1. Access conditions stipulated in the pre-registration and baccalaureate orientation circular
  2. Minimum averages of access to the various training sessions available on the MESRS website, in the evening.

I am a foreign citizen with a foreign Baccalaureate or a recognized equivalent diploma

To enroll in an institution of higher education, I submit an application for assignment through one of the following links:

After obtaining the equivalence of my baccalaureate and acquainted:

  1. Access conditions stipulated in the 2023 pre-registration and orientation circular
  2. Minimum averages of access to the different courses, available on the MESRS website, in the evening.

The final agreement for registration in an establishment is subject to the opinion of the authorized bodies responsible for international cooperation and exchanges.
